Consultancies

  1. The Development of ICT Roadmaps for Counties in 23 Counties.(2015) The aim of consultancy was to draft a comprehensive ICT road map for each County in Kenya.
  2. Mid –Term Review of the Review of the Kenya Transparency and Communications Infrastructure Project.(2016) The aim of consultancy to determine extent of the project’s achievement against the objectives laid down in the project document i.e. how far the project has been able to demonstrate the use of ICT for improved Governance/ service delivery and increased connectivity in Government and institutions of higher learning through the KTCIP project initiatives.
  3. Socio Economic Impact Survey for Kenya Transparency Infrastructure Project Beneficiaries. (2016). The assignment was meant to carry out Economic survey to assess impact TCIP project activities on the ICT environment within the public and private sectors.
  4. Mid-Term Evaluation of the Project Kenya Integrated Intervention Model for Dialogue and Screening to Promote Children’s Mental (KIDS) Machakos and Makindu Sub – Counties (2015). The project was initiated with the aim of promoting mental well-being through prevention, early detection and treatment of existing mental illnesses.
  5. The Heroin Crisis and the National and Provincial Response: A Rapid Assessment in Kenya’s Coastal Province March and April 2012 Client: NACADA and CDC. The study involved interviews with Injecting Drug Users in the coast province and Nairobi. My main task was to conduct FGDs with IDUs.
  6. National Management Framework: Monitoring and Communication for the Lake Victoria Basin. (2006). This project looked at how information gathered on various parameters for example water quality, water quantity, forest cover, water weed infestation, fisheries etc. through research within the Lake Victoria Basin could be packaged, disseminated and monitored through a National Management Information System.  
  7. End- of – term evaluation of CPO5 (Social and Cultural Development of the Child Project in Kenya (2004) Plan- Kenya areas of operation in Eastern Province, Nyanza province and Coast province.   8. Evaluation of the decentralization of Reproductive Health Services in Mombasa and Taita Taveta Districts June – July 2001.  with INCLEN Community Health Department University of Nairobi. Main project features:  An evaluation of the success of decentralization of reproductive health services including HIV/AIDs.
  9. Evaluation of Financial Services Association in Kwale and Kilifi Districts. July – August 2001. (With Patrick Machyo and Dr. Nyandemo) .Client: Funded by Plan International.  Main project features:  This involved field visits to all the sites of the Financial services funded by Plan international.
  10. Mid- Evaluation of Clinical Officers Training Programme in Maridi, Southern Sudan. (2004). Location: Maridi, Southern Sudan Client: African American Research Foundation (AMREF).Main project features:  This involved field visits to the training institute in Maridi South Sudan.
  11. Child Focused Community Planning in Limuru and Thika. Activities performed: The task involved workshop of five days to come up with a Community Action Plan, which is child focused.
  12. Costing of Kenya National Aids Strategic Plan 2000 -2005. March –May 2002.With Price Waterhouse Coopers for National Aids Control Council.

  14. National Gender and Development Policy 2011. (2011). Client: Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development. Main Project features: The exercise involved the revision of the Kenya National Gender Policy 2000.
