The Swedish Council for Higher Education has today 2022-06-21 reached a decision on the application for funding under the programme Linnaeus-Palme partnership.
We are pleased to inform you that the following activities in the project cooperation LiU-048 with Linköpings universitet, Institutionen för Ekonomisk och Industriell Utveckling (IEI) reference number: 16485-2022 have been approved, with funds totalling SEK 528000
UoN Alumni Association Scholarship Fund is a program that provides University Scholarships and Mentorship to academically gifted but financially disadvantaged students undertaking their undergraduate courses at the University of Nairobi Students.

The Departmental of Educational Foundations hosted an international webinar on Wednesday 21st April, 2021 from 3.00 PM – 6.00 PM. The subject of the webinar was COVID-19 and Home schooling-an International perspective.
The project started in 2013 with a Linkoping-planning trip and a five years’ agreement was written between the two Universities. In 2018 the agreement was prolonged for five years. The MOU was signed by the Vice Chancellor on behalf of the University. The partnership has grown stronger mainly because different lecturers and students have been able to participate in the exchange over the past years.
The Department of Educational Foundations in Conjunction with Manchester University and Racial Justice Network (UK) hosted a one day academic conference themed “Decolonizing Education”.
